About

History

The City of Orange Brass Band (COBB) was formerly known as The Orange Industrial Band which was brought together on 1 July 1956. One year later, the band started playing for the public. Uniforms were of the same style as the air force uniforms. The first President for The Orange Industrial Brass Band was Mr Jack Jaeger and the first Band Master was W. Major Eyles.

Band Room History

The band room started life as a bakery after then state MP William Folster purchased the property for his brother-in-law, local baker Arthur Hart. Mr Hart started operating the bakery in the mid to late 1930s.
