History

The City of Orange Brass Band which was formerly known as The Orange Industrial Brass Band was first brought together on July 1st 1956. The One year later was the first time that The Orange Industrial Brass Band started playing for the public.Uniforms worn in the band in July 1957 were of the same style as the air force uniforms.

The first President for The Orange Industrial Brass Band was Mr. Jack Jaeger and the first Band Master was W. Major Eyles.

Meet Us

If you play a brass instrument, want to tidy up your playing or want to learn how to play come and see us as 62-64 Endsleigh Avenue, Orange. Rehearsals are on every Thursday night at 7.30pm.

We welcome people of all ages to come along and play with The City Of Orange Brass Band. If you don't play an instrument, that's ok. Free lessons are available for those who want to improve their playing or want to learn how to play an instrument.

Band Room History

The property was purchased in the early 1930's by William (Bill) Folster for his brother in law: Arthur Hart (who was a well known local baker working with Bartlett for a number of years) to operate a bakery. The bakery commenced operation in the mid to late 1930's.

Junior Membership - $25 Per Annum

Ordinary Membership - $50 Per Annum
